On my Grandmother!

Your lullabies and bedtime stories,
Our unending chit-chat at the fireside at night,
The morning hours in your small rubber plantation,
Occasional visits to relatives near and far,
Parish feasts,
Movies in the local talkies,
Your sardine recipes,
Meat pickles…..
A lot more for me to cherish.
………………………………..

Rest in Peace!
